 Program Accreditation

The Council has produced a comprehensive set of standards for accreditation, which chiropractic institutions are required to meet in order for accreditation to be achieved.  Accreditation Standards and Policy and Procedures documentation are available by following the link on the left of this page.

Accreditation visits are carried out by an Assessment Team appointed by the Accreditation Committee and are responsible for undertaking a thorough assessment of a chiropractic program, including but not limited to:

  • curricula;

  • teaching methods; and

  • physical attributes such as practical rooms, lecture rooms, library and resource facilities and practical clinics.
