Candidates will need to provide the
following requirements so that their qualifications can be satisfactorily
assessed:
 |
a fully completed "Application for
Recognition of Chiropractic Qualifications and Eligibility to Practise in
Australia" form (Desktop Audit);
|
 |
a certified copy of the following:
 |
their chiropractic qualification/s;
|
 |
current registration; AND
|
 |
proof of identity;
|
|
 |
two certified passport size
photographs; |
 |
two original references attesting to
the candidate's practice as a chiropractor;
|
 |
ANY other documentation
requested in the Application Form;
|
 |
the following application fee (in
Australian Dollars) as applicable:
 |
A1 or A2 - $310;
|
 |
A3 - $210;
|
 |
A4 - $510.
|
|
Candidates will also be required to
arrange the following:
 |
for their teaching institution to send
directly to the Council an original academic transcript;
|
 |
if the candidate is currently
registered/licensed (or has been registered/licensed), the
registration/licensing body to send directly to the Council a Certificate of
Registration Status; |
 |
arrange for the NBCE or CCEB to send
directly to the Council their original assessment results (if applicable).
|
Applications
can take up to 6 weeks to process, or longer if relevant information is not
provided. It is important that candidates provide all of the requested
supporting documentation with their application and allow sufficient time for
external agencies to provide required documentation to ensure they are eligible
to sit the Stage 2 - Competency Based Assessment at their selected time.
Candidates are advised
that, if their Evaluation is successful, they will be required to provide the
Registration Board in the State/Territory where they wish to practise with all
of the documentation required for an application for registration. This
may include certified copies of Degree Certificates, Certificates of Good
Standing, proof of registration etc. These documents will not be
forwarded by the Council. Candidates are advised to check with the
Registration Board in the State/Territory where they wish to practise before
leaving their country of domicile to ascertain what documentation will be
required for registration.
