All chiropractors, including Australian and New Zealand residents, who trained outside of Australia or New Zealand, are required to successfully complete the Council's two-step Evaluation Process before seeking registration. All Australian Chiropractors Registration Boards require persons who trained outside of Australia or New Zealand to successfully complete the CCEA Evaluation Process before seeking registration in Australia.
Candidates should be awre that successful completion of the CCEA Evaluation Process does not however guarantee automatic registration. Successful candidates may be required to fulfill additional requirements placed on them by the Registration Board in the State or Territory where they wish to practise. Candidates are advised to check with the Registration Board in the State or Territory where they wish to practise to ascertain if any additional requirements are necessary.

Please note: It is an offence liable to prosecution for a person to practise chiropractic, or hold themselves out to be a chiropractor, while not registered. Penalties differ between jurisdictions with the maximum penalty being $75,000.00.
Australian and New Zealand residents who hold chiropractic qualifications gained from outside of Australia or New Zealand are also required to undertake this process.
Please note: CCEA, State and Territory Registration Boards and AEI-NOOSR do not provide information on how to migrate or on the allocation of points under the Skilled Migration Program. For this information, candidates need to contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) or their nearest Australian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate.
