2023-2024 Review of Chiropractic Accreditation and Competency Standards
The Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia Ltd (CCEA) is reviewing the two sets of standards relevant to the safe and professional practice of chiropractors and the Council’s accreditation functions.
CCEA is currently the independent body responsible for ensuring competency and higher education standards in chiropractic in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.
The Standards being reviewed are the:
Accreditation Standards for Chiropractic Programs
Competency Standards for Chiropractors.
These two key sets of Standards are complementary and strongly interlinked. They are the mainstay of chiropractic practice and education in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, as well as for the Asian programs adopting these standards.
The last edition of these Standards was published in 2017 and is available here.
The latest Consultation Draft of the 2023-2024 Standards is available for you to review here.
