Guide for using the Accreditation Standards for tertiary chiropractic education programs
The Guide for Using the Accreditation Standards for Tertiary Chiropractic Education Programs (the guide) supplements the Accreditation Standards for Chiropractic Programs (2025).
The purpose of the guide is to assist and clarify the intent, expectations and current practice related to the standards, as well as associated criteria used for the assessment of chiropractic tertiary education programs and providers for CCEA accreditation. The guide offers examples of practice that may demonstrate compliance, promote consistency and encourage transparency in how the standards are applied and evaluated, while supporting continuous quality improvement in chiropractic education.
The guide is a living document that CCEA will update regularly. Your suggestions, particularly around additional examples and resources, are encouraged. To provide feedback and identify examples and resources, please email accreditation@ccea.com.au and executive.officer@ccea.com.au.
Further information on CCEA policies and procedures relating to the accreditation evaluation and other processes can be found at Overview of program accreditation – Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia.
